  1. 1. The first conflict of the Civil War where confederate soldiers fired on a union fort in their land.

  1. 2. He was a very famous Confederate general and was almost the head of army but he declined. He renamed his army to the army of North Virginia. He won Chancellorsville but he lost Stonewall in the process. He eventually surrendered at Appomattox, essentially ending the civil war.
  2. 3. This was the Reconstruction group that was reserved and focused on ending things the proper way. They were the first to Veto a very large law, that being the civil rights act of 1866. They believed unity was the overall goal.
  3. 5. The Union plan to wrap around the confederacy and cut off all of their supply routes to snuff them out.
  4. 6. This was one of the easiest captures throughout the entire war, especially for how important it was.
  5. 9. This was the Confederate president, he had an impressive military history, and was very impatient.
  6. 11. This was a moderate plan by Lincoln introduced December 12, 1863 which gave a full pardon to any former Confederate who took an oath of loyalty and accepted abolition. People who take the oath would have all properties restored(other than slaves). States could create a new Government to rejoin the union when 10% of the voting population taking the oath.
  7. 13. He was in charge of the Freedmen's Bureau, he was also referred to as the Christian General, or "Uh Oh" he was very popular with radicals. He also helped a lot with Native Americans.
