At the beach

2. I pinch and scuttle near the shore. I have two claws and sometimes more!
3. I’m used to dig and scoop and play. I help you build sandcastles all day.
6. I’m soft and warm and between your toes. I cover the beach wherever it goes.
9. I come in waves and crash with might. You jump in me for fun and delight.
10. I blow you up and float with glee. I keep you safe while in the sea.
11. I show you fish, coral, and more. Just dive right in and start to explore.
13. I sparkle, shine, and stick like glue. I sometimes hide in your swimsuit too!

3. I’m yellow and hot and high in the sky. I shine so bright and never lie.
4. I’m a cloth you lay on in the sand. To rest, relax, or get a tan.
5. I’m full of food and drinks galore. You bring me to the sandy shore.
6. I fly above with a squawk or two. I might steal chips right out of the blue!
7. I shade your face and block the sun. I’m stylish too, and lots of fun.
8. I hold the sea but can fit in your hand. I’m smooth or rough, from water and sand.
12. I’m colorful and fly in the air. Hold onto my string with extra care!
