- 2. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial
- 3. This shall not be construed to deny or disparage others
- 4. No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury
- 5. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor cruel and unusual punishment inflicted
- 8. Powers not delegated to US by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States
- 9. The right of people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects

- 1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting people the right to peacefully assemble
- 2. Trial by jury shall be preserved when the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars
- 6. A well regulated militia and the right for people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
- 7. No soldier shall, when in a time of peace, reside in any house without the consent of the owner(s)
