- 1. A vesicant, assess for neuropathies and changes in neurologic status, monitor CBC and platelets
- 3. A vesicant, turns urine red, can be cardiotoxic
- 5. Monitor CBC and teach subcutaneous administration if drug will be given at home
- 6. CBC needs to be checked before the dose is given, Nadir occurs in 10-14 days, instruct pt. about mouth care
- 11. Avoid pregnancy due to the risk of serious birth defects, monitor labs and electrolytes
- 14. Watch for signs of an allergic reaction
