Between the ages of 14 and 22 I worked on residential demolition, welding new chemical tanks, assembling automated electroplating equipment, delivering floral arrangements to funeral homes, applying industrial roofing, painting apartments, performing stick and drywall construction/finishing, was a warehouse manager, earned a Bachelors and Masters in Organic Chemistry, got married and had a child, and started at Abbott in bioactive metabolite isolation and identification research using state of the art proton/carbon NMR and other spectroscopic techniques.
11. I have visited 21/30 current MLB ballparks, and 3 that no longer exist. Additionally, I have been to a Japanese baseball game in Nagoya, Japan.
