- 1. A tactical mission task that results in the temporary degradation or the performance of a force or weapon system below the level needed to accomplish its mission. Usually accomplished by using large amounts of ammunition.

- 1. This zone typically contains DTG/BTG sustainment assets, Fires, and the DTG Reserve.
- 2. A tactical mission task that involves taking possession of a designated area by using overwhelming force. This "area" is usually considered key terrain.
- 3. A tactical mission task in which the unit employs all available means to break through or establish a passage through an enemy defense, obstacle, minefield, or fortification.
- 4. An attack that destroys an enemy force through firepower and the physical occupation/destruction of his position
- 7. The first zone to typically encounter enemy elements. Consists of the BTG reconnaissance assts and a task organized element from the BTG.
- 8. The zone where a majority of the combat resides in to reinforce elements.
