Across
- 3. Used to shower someone down if there are toxic chemicals on their clothes or skin. May also be used to put out a clothing fire
- 4. Used to smother small fires on surfaces or to wrap a person who is on fire. (Stop drop and roll is also recommended.)
- 6. Located at each lab table and along walls. Used to clean lab apparatus, obtain tap water, wash chemical spills off hands, and possibly put out a fire
- 7. Must be worn at all times when in the lab for eye safety
- 8. (Optional) Worn to protect your clothing
- 9. Storage closet door for stock chemicals. Students are not permitted past this door for any reason.
- 10. Red button by the door. Press immediately if a fire starts (not because you lit a candle or Bunsen Burner)
- 12. A device that releases chemicals that smother flames- Notify Teacher
- 13. Used to clean up solid chemical spills and broken glassware. Report all broken glassware to your teacher.

- 1. Contains basic first aid items. Any major accidents must be reported and taken to the nurse. Notify Teacher immediately in case of any accident.
- 2. - Container for ALL broken glass. D not dispose of any broken glass into the trash cans, this is a hazard to any body handling the trash.
- 5. ventilated work area used to efficiently carrying away volatiles, noxious fumes and fine powders.
- 11. Rinses chemicals out of eyes. You must emerge your eyes in the water for at least 15 minutes.
