Across
- 2. highly contagious, patient experiences nasal congestion and a cough that sounds like a “whoop”. Particularly dangerous for infants and can be preventable by a vaccine
- 7. acute labored tachypnea, coughing and wheezing with a history of some type of exposure/irritant. May have urticaria and angioedema of the face
- 9. abrupt onset of dyspnea, cough, chest pain and anxiety. Exam reveals DVT signs, tachycardic, tachypnea, and pleural friction rub
- 10. acute labored tachypnea, coughing, prolonged expiratory wheeze brought on by exposure to trigger

- 1. patient recently traveled out of the country and is experiencing chronic productive cough with yellow/green sputum that is getting worse. Overall they are not feeling well, fatigued with drenching night sweats. You hear rales in upper lobes with whispered pectoriloquy
- 3. pleuritic chest pain, tachycardia, diminished breath sounds, decreased chest movement and hyper-resonance
- 4. patient experiencing daytime fatigue. Partner tells them they are unable to sleep due to constant snoring at night. Patient is an obese smoker.
- 5. non productive barking cough at first then becomes productive with symptoms lasting more then 2 weeks and overall fatigue. You hear rhonchi while auscultating the lungs that clear with a cough
- 6. patient looks ill with fever, fatigue, headache, chills, chest discomfort, myalgia. Exam reveals tachypnea, altered breath sounds, rales
- 8. chronic disease consisting of SOB, wheezing, chronic cough, chest tightness, tripod position to help relieve symptoms. Usually due to an underlying disease or exposure to toxins
