  1. 5. we all enjoyed the jokes, laughs, and fun we had at this 50th Syttende Mai celebration event in May
  2. 7. the final part of Bennett's confirmation journey was making his own movie (you can find it on YouTube!)

  4. 10. besides his love for hockey, also enjoys playing soccer and football
  5. 13. Spring Break 2022 took us to one of our favorite vacation states

  8. 19. _________ mom and dad have moved in temporarily as they build their future home
  9. 20. the boys went swimming for the first time in the ocean and LOVED it!
  10. 23. Kari and Lester joined a league in the spring and this has turned into their weekly date night even in the winter (indoor league)

  2. 2. Kari and Lester find it hard to believe Bennett has entered a new school and they now have a child at each school building now
  3. 3. Lester and Kari had a great little getaway here in February; favorite things-the beach, great dinners and drinks, time to reconnect as a couple
  4. 4. turned 15 in September, works at Nilssen's, takes piano, still has aspirations to be a movie director in his future
  5. 6. even though not mentioned much in our yearly letters, Bo, our dog, was our first baby and lived a good, long life with the Halsteads until February 2022; two Halstead boys are VERY interested in adopting another dog, but time will tell
  6. 7. Kari has been employed here 18 years already!
  7. 9. Lester was the president of this group for the last year and helped the club accomplish many great things
  8. 11. sport newer to our family that Calvin and Grant love to play all year long
  9. 12. Hoffman family vacation-enjoyed the World Lumberjack Championships and were photographed for NY Times magazine
  10. 15. Lester continues to be employed here as Director of Operations
  11. 17. we gained another teenager in the house in July; Grant excels in math and loves to read, takes piano lessons, taught himself to skate last winter and joined hockey this year
  12. 18. Lester and Kari have made attending a game a yearly event and always have fun together. Go Pack Go!
  13. 21. the number of goals Grant scored at his first hockey tournament; we are very proud of the progress he has made in his first year of hockey and excited to see the continued growth
  14. 22. Calvin turned ________ in June and is loving life in 3rd grade with a wonderful teacher and class, hockey is life, takes piano lessons, and loves video games
