- 2. We attended John’s 40th high _____ reunion in August. The reunion was good fun, but the best part of the endeavor was tracking down and reconnecting with some dear friends from all those years ago.
- 8. Much of the winter and spring was spent in getting ready to move Pamela’s Uncle _______ to Maine. We sold his house in New Jersey, found him a new home here, and organized the move north.
- 9. We did not plan it, but we were able to visit with all of our nieces and ______ during the last 19 months. Not shabby, considering they were spread out among six states and 4 time zones.
- 11. ______ and Brendan are enjoying Chicago and are planning to remain in the city after their marriage.
- 14. While in Honolulu, we ______ with Pamela’s nephew, Miles. He is studying at the U of Hawaii. He took us to some wonderful local restaurants.
- 15. We took a great ________ trip to the state of Hawaii this fall. We visited Honolulu and Maui, and were very impressed with the sights and the atmosphere of the islands.
- 17. In July, we moved Pamela’s Uncle Richard from New Jersey to ______. He is now living in a retirement community just 15 minutes from our house.
- 19. We both try to _______ as much as we can. We cannot run as far as we used to, and we feel the aches if we overdo it. John spends time on the elliptical machine, and Pamela enjoys walks with Brownie.
- 20. Pamela continues to work hard in her legal career. She spends many _____ working with children to make sure their view is represented in complicated legal proceedings.
- 22. We made a quick trip to Denver, Colorado, on Labor ___ weekend, for the wedding of our good friends’ daughter. The wedding was great and we always enjoy our visits out west.
- 24. Independence Day was spent in Pamela’s hometown, Storm Lake, IA. While in ____, we saw old friends and touched base with some of Pamela’s extended family.

- 1. We saw our two daughters together twice in 2014. The family met in _____, at John’s mother’s house around Memorial Day. Last month we all gathered for a great Thanksgiving.
- 3. Pamela’s cousin Warren made the ____ north from Delaware to join us for Thanksgiving. We really appreciate that he made the effort to make that drive on that hectic week.
- 4. In August, Reno ran a 10K road _____ with her boyfriend, Craig. He is a serious runner, and Reno worked hard all spring and summer to get in shape.
- 5. Both of our _____ are getting old. Our 14 year old dog, Brownie, is stiff and sore most of the time, but she is as friendly as ever. Our 16 year old cat, Dewey, is doing well, although he is comfortable staying inside the house most of the time.
- 6. Haven continues to work for the Chicago Trust. ______, Haven’s fiancée, also works for a non-profit north of the city.
- 7. The vacation in Hawaii allowed Pamela to visit her 50th _____. Her father started taking the family on USA road trips long ago, and we have completed the journey in the past two years.
- 10. Happy _______ to all our friends and family, far and near!
- 12. John’s _______, Bette, in Florida, continues to do well. We helped her purchase her own house in the spring, and she is getting comfortable with both her iPhone and her notepad.
- 13. John has settled into his new role at Unum. He manages a production support team, and he enjoys the occasional excitement that comes with solving complex _______.
- 16. Haven and Brendan Siegfried became engaged this fall. They plan to get ________ next September.
- 18. _____ has really enjoyed catching up with his old friends from high school. At the reunion and in many email exchanges, it doesn’t seem like 4 decades have passed since the last time we were in touch.
- 21. In graduate school, _____ is studying for her Masters degree in Biology. She is also working in a campus lab and is a teaching assistant.
- 23. Once again, we enjoyed our summer in Maine. Our gardens were a success, as usual, and we enjoyed evenings sitting around our new fire pit in the back ____.
