- 11. I have a fraternal twin. My dream career when I was in high school was to be a forensic investigator.
- 14. My first job after college was a librarian (in a maximum security prison!). At one time I wanted to be a dolphin trainer so my favorite vacation is when I swam with the dolphins at Atlantis resort.
- 16. I got a horse for my 16th birthday instead of a car. All of my pets match – and it wasn’t an accident.
- 19. Before I started my career in HR, I was an academic advisor and before that I majored in Fashion Merchandising at Stephens College, Columbia MO. I later decided to get a degree in Organizational Studies and moved into HR. I’m afraid of heights, but I went ziplining a few years ago! I conquered my fears.
- 21. My favorite beverage is lime bubbly! Love sparkling water. I recently got married.
- 22. When I was in High School I worked on the first Suicide Prevention Hotline for Teens. I Managed a little Cesar’s pizza in College and still today can NOT stand the smell of Hormel Cheese!
- 24. Growing up my dad was a pastor and I wasn’t allowed to watch MTV or even VH1. My friend David used to secretly make VHS tapes of BET music videos and I would use them to choreograph dance routines for the HS dance team #rebel- lol. Before I started my career, I… illegally sold beer ( was only 16) as the “beer girl” at a golf course. Side note- I can barely play miniature golf, let alone real golf.
- 25. When I was growing up, I spent a lot of evenings and weekends with my grandparents on their farm. Before I started my career, I worked repairing computers as my first job.
- 26. Growing up and until about age 10, I wasn’t able to have salad dressing on my salads because I was “too young”, according to my parents. My mom vehemently denies this fact but I distinctly remember eating plain iceberg lettuce as a kid. My 10 year wedding anniversary is next year and I would love to take my husband on a Lord of the Rings tour in New Zealand. Not sure if we can make it happen or if we’ll just need to watch the movies at home and eat Second Breakfast and Elevensies.
