- 2. surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
- 4. Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
- 6. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things.
- 10. Unless the LORD Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.
- 12. Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
- 14. Come, all you beasts of the field, come and devour, all you beasts of the forest!
- 17. Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a city under siege.
- 18. Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
- 20. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever."

- 1. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you."
- 3. See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind."

- 16. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear
- 19. See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.
