  1. 5. Discriminating against an individual owing to their age. E.g. refusing to hire people over or under a certain age. Or having preconceived notions such as viewing older people as lacking energy, and Millennials as being entitled.

  3. 7. An unfounded feeling of being better than others created merely by being a part of a select community. E.g. He may not gel with the pace of the team, because he comes from a small town.
  4. 8. A social group that shares a common and distinctive culture, language, beliefs, religion, or behavior and other such traits. E.g. You are an Asian American, I believe you can do far better in Asian Markets.

  1. 1. Any condition that limits an individual’s ability to perform certain activities. E.g. A person with physical disability cannot do justice to a Sales role.
  2. 2. The behavior that shows favoritism towards one gender over another. E.g. This role will require significant amount of travelling which a woman employee can’t do due to her household commitments.
  3. 3. Being critical of people very quickly, in an unfair way. E.g. This candidate may not work for us, because they are dressed shabbily.
  4. 4. Describing someone using a single word or a short phrase. E.g. You might look at someone who is a few pounds overweight and term them “lazy”.
