- 3. Our Reading Center uses Dr.Seuss to explore the places you'll go by developing your reading skills.
- 6. We are right next door to Oakland Public Library's newest branch.
- 9. We are located in San Leandro and our library is a circle.
- 12. At our school we know that if we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us...we will achieve!
- 13. Previously a Filipino Immersion School, this school houses an almost 50% Filipino student population. The school is connected to Columbia Park in SOMA, where the children play at recess and after-school.
- 14. I am located in Noe Valley and boast two levels of playgrounds!
- 15. I'm near Sign Hill that shows the sign of South San Francisco. Our mascot is the Cougars. I used to be a high school before I was converted into an elementary school.
- 16. We have two schools on our campus, and it is a 25 min walk to/from the Oakland Coliseum.
- 19. I have sign language on my murals that decorate my walls. Located in the heart of the Mission district in SF, I was also named after a famous advocate of field workers rights.
- 22. We are named after an evergreen shrub but represent glory, honor and distinction.
- 23. We are a big community that offers adult education, and Lotus Bloom, a program for parents and toddlers. We also have a great morning sports program and a new sports question of the day near the cafeteria.
- 25. We're the Coyotes and we're across the playground from Everett Middle School campus!
- 26. I'm next to the beautiful Precita Park in the Mission, and my mascot is an Eagle. I've got lots of beautiful murals as well!
- 27. Our school is located near a Quaker Oats plant. We have two center mascots; an elf and a magical book.

- 1. We have a dental clinic on site, and our mascot is a Lion. Our school was also founded by the Bay Area Women's and Children's Center.
- 2. We serve students from over 30 different countries who speak over 20 languages.
- 4. I have a wall of stars and a garden with chickens. I also offer a Japanese Bilingual-Bicultural program.
- 5. I'm a building lined on the inside with purple and university flags. My mascot is a cub. Our students wear green polos. We are located near a well-known donut shop.
- 7. Our school's foundational values are Pride, Purpose, Possibilities, and Perseverance and we are on the edge of Oakland and San Leandro.
- 8. Our mascot is the Superstars! Also, actress and singer Zendaya visited us this year to promote STEM education.
- 10. Kevin Durant came here to read last year with 10 of our Reading Partners students during our Reading Rally!
- 11. The door of our center has a giant paper umbrella and paper hearts all over it!
- 17. My mascot is a Shark. I'm located pretty close to the water, too!
- 18. Miss Chinatown has come to our school to read with our students.
- 20. HAWKS read in the library here! This school is aptly named and is perched atop high ground.
- 21. We are right near John McLaren Park and are known as the Peacemakers!
- 24. Our schools have college on the brain and are nurturing emerging bi-linguists, respectively.
