  7. 17. What I have for every single employee in the district after a 1 1/4 years of pandemic teaching and learning
  8. 19. We are these! We've faced what felt like an insurmountable challenge but continued to educate students while learning alongside them in virtual spaces and social distanced classrooms! We re-imagined curriculum and used new tools for collaborating with colleagues and students remotely- and we all learned so much! GOOD STUFF! Round of applause!
  9. 21. At the secondary level we are using these data points (achievement, attendance, and discipline) to design a decision making protocol for identifying and serving at-risk students

  1. 1. Our framework will continue to guide our decisions and be at the forefront of our policies and programming to ensure access for each student we serve
  2. 2. These learning opportunities have and will continue to allow us to close learning gaps with students -- COMPASS, Success Academy, tutoring, Bearcat Wednesday, Kindergarten Boot Camp, Summer School K-12. Still time to sign on as a teacher. Let me know if you are interested!!!
  3. 3. Increasing this with our students using Marzano's 6 step protocol, combined with increased emphasis on prior knowledge, will improve our students' reading comprehension. Have you seen our VOCABULARY HANDBOOK?
  4. 5. Research states it takes 21 days to change these -- which we all will be thinking about this summer in preparation for the coming year. What worked and what didn't? What little changes can you commit to making for improved impact?

  6. 8. Once we have literacy diagnostics in place K-8, we will use this "tree" to place students in evidence-based and targeted interventions, beginning next year -- stay tuned!!!

  9. 12. An entire year spent learning about this instructional framework that will remove barriers for students and enhance their learning -- looking forward to full implementation next year!
