  11. 22. – sulfites, cushing syndrome, active infection, renal disease, penetrating spinal cord injury, HTN, seizures, CHF
  12. 25. - insulinoma, pheochromocytoma
  13. 29. – 2nd or 3rd degree AV block, bradycardia, wide complex tachycardia w/ escape beats and bradycardia, hypotension
  14. 30. – unable to swallow or follow commands
  15. 32. – active asthma, active ulcer disease, active GI bleed
  16. 33. chloride – hypercalcemia, VF, digitalis toxicity
  17. 34. – hypersensitivity

  1. 2. – intracranial and intraspinal hemorrhage, DT, allergy to corn
  2. 3. – known opioid abuse, liver failure, respiratory depression, head trauma, hypotension, MAOIs
  3. 4. – HTN
  4. 6. epinephrine – HTN, diabetes, cardiac disease
  5. 7. acid – kidney disease, bleeding disorders, DVT, pulmonary embolism, pregnant, irregular period
  6. 9. – long QT
  7. 12. – hypotension, tachycardia (>150), bradycardia, right side MI, phosphodiesterase meds within last 48 hrs, increased ICP, intracranial hemorrhage
  8. 14. bromide – atropine, soy, peanuts
  9. 16. – NSAID, alicylates, asthma, bleeding disorders, renal failure
  10. 17. - hypotension, hepatic coma, electrolyte imbalance, dehydration
  11. 20. – bradycardia, SSS, 2nd and 3rd degree heart block cardiogenic shock, decomp heart failure, concurrent use of calcium channel blockers
  12. 23. – hypotension, cardiogenic shock, wide complex tachycardia, WPW, drug induced tachycardia, concurrent use of beta blocker
  13. 24. – alcohol use, hypotension, respiratory depression, shock, use of barbiturates
  14. 26. – lever failure, known opioid user, respiratory depression
  15. 27. jelly – kidney and liver disease
  16. 28. bicarbonate – metabolic and respiratory alkalosis, on diuretics
  17. 31. – CNS depression, alcohol intox, hypotension, respiratory depression
