3. Canal: A man-maid inlet of the Indian ocean, lying between Africa and Asia. This canal provided a shortcut from Europe to Asia.
4. Nationalism: An ideology that promotes Arab unity and urges them to join forces and form their own state.
5. Sea: An inlet of the Indian ocean lying between Africa and Asia.

1. Gulf: A shallow inlet of water off of the the Indian Ocean, Sandwiched between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
2. To divide/separate a country, territory, or resource.
3. Accord: An agreement between France and Britain in 1916 which divided the territory of the Ottoman Empire into distinctive countries. These countries were controlled by either Britain or France under the Mandate System.
6. Sea: The sea is connected to the Atlantic Ocean, is surrounded Southern Europe and North Africa on the South. It is almost entirely surrounded by land.
9. A social movement for Jewish people to form an independent Nation in Israel.
12. Ocean: The third largest ocean in the world. It connects to Africa, Asia and Australia.
