  1. 3. 1st Phase of the moon. In this phase the moon is completely dark since we cannot see the side the sun is shining on.
  2. 4. 2n phase of the moon. We see light reflecting off only about 1/4 of the moon surface that faces us.
  3. 5. 5th phase. All of the side that faces us is reflecting light.
