- 2. This service provides a range of free wellbeing courses, including Understanding Self-Esteem, Managing Strong Emotions, and Assertiveness
- 6. We campaign to raise awareness of mental health and its impact on 1 in 4 people in any year, challenge the stigma that is associated with mental health problems, and improve the support that people receive when they’re unwell
- 9. This service offers specialist advice for anyone applying for benefits due to their mental health. It can help you to get and fill in the right forms, make and take difficult phone calls, get backdated payments, resolve problems with over- or under-payments and appeal against decisions.
- 11. This project provides out of hours support for people experiencing mental health crisis, as an alternative to A&E for people who don’t have urgent medical needs. We have two projects under this name – one in Oxford (open every evening) and one in Banbury (open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 6-10pm).
- 12. This service provides talking therapy for people living with mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety or depression. It is part of the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) programme. The IAPT programme is a national NHS initiative to make NICE approved psychological treatments more widely available.

- 1. This service allows you to ask us a specific question about mental health or mental health services. It’s open to anyone, whether you’re a friend, carer, professional or service user. The telephone and email line is open Monday to Thursday, 9:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 9:30am to 4:00pm. This service also produces the Mind Guide, a directory of all the mental health services in Oxfordshire.
- 3. This service supports young people from primary age through to adulthood, as well as parents and staff. The team in this service can provide primary school assemblies, one-to-one support for students, and interactive class-based workshops.
- 4. This service has partnerships with local sports clubs and yoga studios to encourage people to get active. It also includes the Walking for Wellbeing Project, which leads group walks from existing mental health locations
- 5. This service offers service users of Adult Mental Health Teams in Oxfordshire up to six one-to-one sessions with a Wellbeing Service Worker.
- 7. These groups are safe, welcoming spaces to share activities, issues or thoughts and to meet people who may have experienced similar issues. They may focus around an activity such as art, music, reading, or cooking
- 8. This pilot project provides one-to-one sessions with Wellbeing Workers embedded in GP surgeries around Oxfordshire
- 10. This service is delivered in partnership with Response and has been running since 1977 – our longest running service. It provides a pathway of supported accommodation options for people with mental health and housing needs. We have 94 units in 21 projects, ranging from a 1 bed unstaffed unit to a 9 bed staffed project.
