- 3. Serious and immediate danger. Examples include hurricane, fire, theft, lightning, plumbing burst.

- 7. Home- Designed, built, permitted and inspected according to the Florida Building Code (FBC), and must be installed on permanent foundations just like a site-built home. Rated as Frame.
- 9. Jacket- Contains the definitions, terms, limits, exclusions, and conditions for each type of coverage shown on your policy Declarations Page.
- 10. Interest- Any person or entity which also holds a financial interest in the home, such as a mortgage company.
- 14. Policy that covers a variety of different perils such as fire, lightning, wind, hail etc.

- 1. A specified amount of money that the insured must absorb before an insurance company will pay a claim.
- 2. Perils- Policy will cover any peril that is not specifically excluded on the policy contract. (Broader).
- 4. Possibility of financial loss or harm.
- 5. Policy- Policy that covers only the peril of wind / hail & any wind events (tornado, tropical storm).
- 8. / Manufactured Home- Home that is built on a metal frame, brought in with its own wheels and axles, set up on piers, has a serial number, and is tied down.
- 11. Refers to the Insurance Company (such as Citizens).
- 12. Page- A summary of your insurance policy that lists key information about your coverage
- 13. Perils- Policy specifically names perils that will be covered. If not named as covered then it is not covered. (More restrictive).
