4. The broad, upper part of the hip bone.

11. Sciatic The indentation in the ilium for nerve and vessel passage.
13. Iliac The depression on the internal surface of the ilium.
15. Terminalis The ridge on the superior pubic ramus.
16. Ligament running from the pubic tubercle to the anterior superior iliac spine.
17. Anterior Superior Iliac Spine, a bony projection on the iliac bone.
18. Greater The large bony prominence on the femur for muscle attachment.
20. The small bone at the base of the spine, also known as the tailbone.
21. The front portion of the pelvic bone.
22. The socket of the hip bone that holds the head of the femur.
23. Girdle The bony ring formed by the sacrum and hip bones.

10. Notch A notch in the ilium that allows passage of the sciatic nerve.
12. Iliac The pointed bony projection on the ilium.
13. Obturator The opening in the hip bone formed by the pubis and ischium.
14. Joint The joint between the sacrum and the ilium.
19. A triangular bone at the base of the spine that forms the back part of the pelvis.
24. Crest The superior border of the ilium.
