- 2. A scientific procedure undertaken to make a discovery, test a hypothesis, or demonstrate a known fact.
- 3. An experimental design where a group are matched in pairs based on characteristics affecting preformance, then pairs are split into different groups that complete a task in different conditions
- 5. A measure of the extent to which experimental findings can be generalized to the real world
