- 1. Mental health professional. They do individual psychotherapy, can make diagnosis and have their own private practice. Individual therapy, diagnostic assessments.
- 2. Counselor for people in treatment. They run individual and group counseling for clients in treatment. Primary group leader, does one-on-one counseling with each individual on their caseload.
- 3. A mental health peer who has achieved and utilizes a special certification. Certified, but does not require a license.
- 4. Recovery ____. Often mistaken for a PRS. They are more akin to an intern, and employed through AmeriCorps.
