- 1. Literary form within the Old Testament that is written in poetic style; that is having a powerful emotional message often having the presence of figurative language.

- 10. A person who speaks for God or by divine inspiration. Prophets contribute to a major section in the Bible and include Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea and Daniel as well as others.
- 12. Is a distinctive type of letter, one worthy of honour. Several books in the Bible contain epistles -letters by apostles/leaders to communities. St. Paul wrote epistles to individuals as well as communities as a means of instruction.
