- 1. This is when adults who have chosen to become Catholic. They prepare and recieve the sacraments to join the church which is a proccess to help them learn and grow in their faith.

This was a recurring event that was noted in the Bible many times, like when Moses gave his job to Joshua or when Jesus blessed people. Today, people use this to appoint new deacons, priests and bishops in the Church.
