- 10. The fastest, most powerful and most expensive computers in the world. They cost over £100million to buy and are mainly used for scientific research, weather modelling and by the military. (5,8)

- 1. A cross between a tablet and a laptop. The touch screen can either be flipped over or completely detached from the main body.
- 3. A recent development of the mobile phone. A truly multifunctional device that can do all that mobile phones can do and so much more, including games, live TV etc…
- 4. A mobile, quite thin device that has a flat surface and a touch screen. Generally around 7 to 10 inches in screen size these are becoming ever more popular computers for personal use.
- 6. A portable computer that is mobile and can be carried around with you, but has the same power and functionality of a Desktop PC.
- 7. A computer with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system. I am commonly found in home appliances such as washing machines and toasters.
