- 2. "The Sunshine State". This state is home to major tourism sites such as Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens. 70% of the nation's oranges are grown here. The Everglades are also found here.
- 3. One of the original 13 colonies and one of six states that compose New England. Plymouth was one of the first US settlements here and the first college of higher education was founded here. The capital of this state is Boston.
- 4. The US film and television industry is centered here. Home to Hollywood, it is also the second largest city in the US. Amazingly, Sacramento and not this city is the state's capital. The "Lakers" and "Dodgers" play here.
