  1. 4. Also known as Page Numbers, they provide specific quick references for readers. Ex:“Page 26 -Varsity Football.”
  2. 7. Short copy that describes a picture, often placed below it, to help the reader better understand the image
  3. 8. Pre Designed layout provided that makes it easy to organize yearbook pages.

  1. 1. Displays the number of times individuals appear in the yearbook (photos must be tagged) and the page numbers on which they appear. The coverage report also allows for easy access to correct spelling of names.
  2. 2. Includes special features, packages, picture bars, etc. that add to a page. Can be along the top, bottom, or side
  3. 3. PAGE Page one of the yearbook. It should include reference to the theme, plus the name of the book, the name of the school, the complete school address, the volume number and year.

  7. 12. Usually 3-5 paragraphs, a feature story tells about the event and gives more insight and detail than a caption can. It is a traditional method of telling about an event.
  8. 13. A complete alphabetical listing of all students, teachers, advertisers, topics and events covered in the yearbook.
  9. 17. A page-by-page listing of the yearbook's contents
  10. 19. A central idea or concept that sets the tone for telling the story of the year. Repeated throughout the yearbook on cover, endsheets, opening, closing and dividers, it unifies the storytelling message of the book and gives it personality.
