6. Being able to understand something
9. Briefly tell the main parts of a story, event, etc
11. The use of examples and evidence, or details to back, strengthen, (support) a conclusion or argument

14. To figure out information that is communicated, but not in a direct or straightforward manner. To "read between the lines"
15. To suggest or hint. To communicate something without directly saying it.
16. Decide on the quality, value, or significance of something. Make a judgement.

20. This is a specific kind of comparing that means to examine differences.

1. Break something down so we understand it better. Figure out why? Make sense of something by studying the relations of the parts.
2. To look at what is alike and what is different
3. Restate a quote, passage, etc in different words, often to make it easier to understand.
4. To come up with a new idea or a new way of looking at things. To create a plan.
5. Combine complex ideas into a whole
7. Being able to remember something
8. Tell details about an idea, event, character, etc to try to picture a mental picture
10. Identify the points in a sequence, path, history, etc.
18. Make an educated guess about what might happen.
