27 Amendments

2. Gives women the right to vote
3. Right to bear arms
4. No one may be forced to house soldiers
6. Protects against unreasonable search and seizure
8. Provides for separate elections for president and vice president
10. Selling and drinking of alcoholic beverages is made illegal
12. Rights to a jury trial in civil cases
18. No excessive bail, no cruel and unusual punishment
19. Congressional compensation increases may not take effect until after that congressional term is over
22. Lowers voting age from 21 to 18
23. Senators are to be elected by the voters in their state; governor fills state senator position if position opens during a term
24. Provides for presidential succession and filling a vacant office of VP, if VP dies or is removed from office
25. Beginning of president, VP, and congress terms in office begins in January; presidential succession can take place before presidential inauguration

20. People have other basic rights not listed in the Constitution
21. Rights to a speedy trial by jury
