2. The set of all possible input values x for a function
4. A function that "undoes" the action of another function. It has a special symbol that is NOT a negative number

1. An x value where the function y = 0 on the x axis. Also called a root or x-intercept
2. The value of the expression from the quadratic formula, used to determine the number (zero, one, two) and type of solutions (real or imaginary)
3. A relation where each element of the domain is paired with exactly one element of the range
8. A process where a quantity decreases at a rate proportional to its current value
9. The coefficient of the term with the highest degree
10. A probability distribution that is symmetric about the mean, showing that data near the mean are more frequent in occurrence
