4. Extra thick line used to show cutaway views or plane of projection where a section view is taken. Arrows indicates direction of view.
5. Very light and thin line used to construct layout work.
7. Medium line with arrowhead used to show notes or labels for size or special information about a feature.
10. Long line followed by two short dashes used to show alternate positions of a moving part.
11. Short and long medium line used to show cutaway views of a long section.

1. Thin and dark lines used to show the size (span) of an object with a numeric value. Usually terminates with arrowheads or tick markings.
2. Thick dark line used to show outline of object, visible edges and surfaces.
3. Short dash lines used to show non visible surfaces. Usually shows as medium thickness.
6. Medium lines drawn at 45 degrees used to show interior views of solid areas of cutting plane lines.
8. Thin and dark line used to show the starting and ending of a dimension.
9. Long and short dashed lines. Usually indicates the center of holes, circles and arcs. Line is thin and dark.
