1. Situated at he rear of the oral cavity and forms part of the hard palate.
2. Also known as viscerocranium, supports the soft tissues of the face, determines our facial expressions.
4. Comprised of six bones-the frontal,sphenoid,ethomoid, occipital,parietal and temporal bones.These bones are important as they provide an articulation point for the 1st cervical vertebra, as well as the facial bones and mandible.
7. Located at the junction of the sagittal and lambdoid sutures.
10. Forms the cheek bones of the face,and articulates with the frontal, sphenoid, temporal and maxilla bones.
12. Fuses the frontal bone with the two parietal bones.
