  1. 1. The appearance of the blank space color in InDesign. Can change between four default shades of grey / black.
  2. 3. The ability to increase and decrease the view size of a document.
  3. 4. Determines the resolution of specific raster effects such as drop shadows.
  4. 7. The ability to change the orientation of a document.
  5. 9. Extra space beyond your page that allows you to run objects beyond the edge of the page to ensure that they print to the edge of the page to prevent a white border when cutting.
  6. 11. The area outside of the page where items, colors, swatches, etc. etc. can be stored.
  7. 13. Space between columns or facing pages in a publication.
  8. 15. Ability to view projects and adjust the display on the screen.
  9. 18. This mode will display the document in the program that looks like the final result if it were printed, removing all the guides and lines blocking a clear view of your design.
