4. Terrier I was bred by an English Bulldog and White English Terrier. I was initially bred for dog fighting, in Southborough, Massachusetts.
7. I was bred to herd sheep at first, before getting hired by the police to sniff out culprits and end up in your home as a golden hearted pet. I was bred in Germany, by Max Emil Friedrich von Stephanitz.
9. I am just like the Golden Gate Bridge, I am not made out of gold. I was bred by various circus dogs, who were bought by Dudley Coutts Marjoribanks. Now I am a pet, helpful to people, and I specialize in making you happy!
10. Ni Hao! I was bred all the way in China, and my ancestors lived during the Ming Dynasty, they were all loved dearly by the Emperors in their alluring palaces.
11. We were originally used as a carriage dog, but now we help out Firefighters. My origin is unknown, however, I was named after the Adriatic coastel region of Dalmatia, Croatia.
12. Konnichiwa! Our history dates back all the way to Ancient Japan. Where the Jomon-Jin people bred us by using their own dogs. In the past we were used as hunting dogs, but obviously not anymore!

1. We come from the Canadian province of Newfoundland. Before we were pets to amazing humans like you, we were water dogs who were very athletic, swimmers. We can fetch anything that is thrown in the water.
2. I was descended by the Spitz family of dogs which includes the Akita, American Eskimo, Alaskan Malamute and the Keeshond. I am found in Pomerania, it is mostly part of Poland but the westernmost section is found in the westernmost section of eastern Germany.
3. I have long and silky hair, which is usually tied up in a topknot. My ancestors were the Skye, Paisley, and Clydesdale Terriers who are all stylish like me.
5. If you are a person who goes on morning runs, I'll be your companion. The Chukchi people who make their living on the peninsula of Siberia, bred us and used us as sled dogs.
6. There has been confusion on if we were from Mexico, brought from Malta by conquistadors, or if we were from China. We were kept by the Aztecs, and were bred by Xoloitzcuintl, a Mexican hairless dog.
8. I am known as glamorous, and a show dog with curly, wavy, or corded hair. I might be the national dog of France, but I was made in Germany. I was originally bred to be a water retriever.
