  1. 2. information found within a source that proves or disproves something.
  2. 4. something that informs us about history at the most basic level, and are used as clues in order to study history.
  3. 5. collection and study of historical information about individuals, families, important events, or everyday life using audiotapes, videotapes, or transcriptions of planned interviews.
  4. 6. a general term for an item made or given shape by humans, such as a tool or a work of art, especially an object of archaeological interest.
