- 3. Family thought it was cute. I hate my full proper name. It is English, German, Greek, Italian, and a Dutch name. It translates to “Listener” in many languages. In Hebrew it most accurately translates to “God Heard”, In Aramaic it means “ Listener”, and in Greek it is commonly translated to “ Flower”.
- 6. My parents named me. No idea why. My name was chosen from the Bible.
- 8. My mom named me. If my mind serves me correctly, I want to say my mom stated that it came from nurse’s name or some article she had read while in hospital. My name has a French origin. There are notable people with my name, earliest one, dating back to the 1930’s. Growing up, I only knew one other person with my name, she went to middle and high school with me; I did not know a lot of people with my name, but it turns out, there are a lot of people with my name. Fun Fact: I still have the Maternity/Baby Identification card with the date, time born, height and weight 😊
- 9. My mom. My dad wanted it to be Holly. I am definitely not a Holly! ( eternally grateful to my mama!). I think it’s European and the meaning has something to do with a meadow.

- 7. My mom decided on my name. At first, they wanted all their kids to have names that start with the letter “D”. My parent’s names are Don and Darlene. However, they could not agree on a girl’s name that started with D So they opted for “V”. lol…Creative huh? 😊 Has a Latin/French origin that means strong or valiant.
