1. An area of flat land. They are often good places to build cities.
4. A spot where a river drops off suddenly. The water rushes down a steep drop off and lands in a pool of water below.

5. The lowest area between two mountains or hills. There is usually a river at the bottom of a valley and the soil is often fertile.
