- 1. Joe Freeman began a movement in the 1940's to build a place to house a livestock exposition for the youth of Texas
- 2. The largest all-breed, purebred livestock show in the country.
- 3. Began in 1840 on the grounds of a local livestock sales yard with improvised pens and lean-to sheds. Today it is an educational organization represented by the four southmost counties in Texas.
- 5. Established in 1899 as the first ever exhibition and sale of purebred cattle, this event celebrated it's 125th anniversary in 2024.
- 6. Held in Billings, Montana, this show started in 1967 as a public auction and has now grown into one of the largest agricultural events in the Northwest.
