Across
- 4. Ricky and Otis are some of our guest's favorite animals to visit at the Zoo! They are often found swimming in their pond or napping together in their habitat.
- 5. These furry Zoo friends are named Terra, Tilly, and Tess. They like to play in the water, sleep in the winter, and love eating grapes!
- 9. He can be hard to find, but we blame it on his name being Ninja! This cat has a long swooshing tail and likes to stalk his prey.
- 10. Valentine is one of the hardest animals to see at the Zoo. But if I was a forty-pound weasel with a fur coat, I'd stay out of the sun most days too!
- 11. This hard-to-spot cat was mistaken for a house cat before finding her home here at Zoo New York. She has a naturally short tail.
- 12. Zoo New York has three of these cats on exhibit near the Butterfly House. They have pointy ears and spots.
- 13. Aspen and his ladies spend most of their day laying in their yard or eating grass. Occasionally, they may take a swim in their habitat's pond.
Down
- 1. This animal is in a shared flight net. His favorite food is roadkill, the older the better!
- 2. This animal goes by the name Snoopy. She can be seen flying across her flight net near the Children's Farm.
- 3. Our very own symbol of freedom and patriotism shares her habitat with another bird who's a little less regal.
- 6. This pair of birds come right from an Edgar Allen Poe novel. Commonly mistaken as crows, these birds are exceptionally intelligent.
- 7. Contrary to popular belief, this animal cannot shoot out its quills. Our resident is named Penny, and she can be found hanging around her habitat fence.
- 8. We have two of these birds in a flight net near our compost pile. They share this habitat with another set of birds.
