  1. 2. - A weapon crafted by the Dwarf brothers Brokkr and Eitri. It was meant to be held with two hands but it got a shorter handle because Loki harassed the dwarf brothers during the construction process. When thrown, it could return to the user's hands. Loki had to interrupt the process because he bet his life that it wouldn’t be better than the tools crafted by another dwarf.
  2. 3. - Odin’s grandfather, and the ancestor of gods. Was “created” by a cow called Audhumla by licking salt blocks which formed the shape of a man. Married a giantess who caught him whilst he was falling into the great gap because Ymir didn’t like his warm flesh and threw him in the gap.
  3. 6. - A wealthy dwarf who lived in a waterfall, he disguised himself as a salmon to protect his treasure. He possessed a magical gold ring, Andvaranaut which had the power to create gold. It was later taken by Loki to pay a ransom. He then cursed the ring and his treasure taken by Loki so that it would destroy whoever possessed it. It then lead to a series of events when the ring was given to Hreidmar, the dwarf king.
  4. 7. -He drank the milk from Audhumla, his cow. After a great battle with Vili Ve and Odin, he was defeated and his body parts became the things that created the world. The maggots that were in them were turned to dwarves by Odin. He gave birth two giants from his armpit and a six-headed giant from his leg.

  1. 1. A icy, dark, mysterious world of the dead ruled by the goddess Hel. It was said where evil men arrive after their death. When the ice of X met with the flames of Muspelheim, it created the first giant, Ymir. It is the home of Niddhog, a dragon who ate the roots of the world tree during Ragnarok.
  2. 3. God of peace and forgiveness. Twin brother of the blind god of darkness Höõr. Possessed a ship called Hringhorni which was said to be the largest ship ever built. He was killed by his brother due to a trick by Loki.
  3. 4. - A squirrel that lives on the world tree Yggdrasil. His job is to send messages from the eagle nested on top of Yggdrasil and the dragon Niddhog. He was once caught by Odin but then threatened Odin not to kill him because of his friends.
  4. 5. A god well known for his wisdom and knowledge. He guarded the well of truth and after a battle, his head got chopped off. Odin carried his head so that it would give him advice. He has one of Odin's eyes from a trade when Oden was thirsty for knowledge.
  5. 8. Godess of youth. Guarded the golden apples which allowed the Aesir to stay young and live until ragnarok. She was once kidnapped by a giant who transformed into an eagle because of Loki. The gods then forced Loki to rescue her because they were turning old without the apples.
