This person has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate those hazards.
  7. 12. Competent Person in control of the location where works will be executed and who has sufficient authority to co-ordinate and control the issue and return of permits. That person has an overview of all operations planned & under way on site for the shift to avoid hazards caused by simultaneous activities.
