- 27. caused by pasteurella multocida. CS- fever, oral mucoid discharge, white-ish diarrhea, petechia/ecchymosis, inc pericardial/peritoneal fluid, acute death. zoonotic; tx with sulfas

- 3. caused by mycobacterium avium, seen in backyard flocks. Cytology - acid fast bacteria. necropsy - granulomatous nodules in liver, spleen, BM, intestines
- 5. adenovirus in bird 6-12 weeks old causing depression, bloody diarrhea, sudden death. vaccinate 4-5 week old turkeys
- 6. swollen edematous pectoral muscles in turkey caused by vigorously exercised muscle that when handled leads to swelling, ischemia, and necrosis
- 7. mild disease in chickens, severe in turkeys; turkeys get nasal discharge, swelling of para nasal sinus, dec wt and eggs, severe sinusitis and air sacculitis

- 24. infectious ___ aka bordetellosis, respiratory disease caused by haemophilus paragallinarum (G-), older chickens more susceptible. CS - nasal discharge, swelling of face (esp under eye). ddx from fowl cholera. tx - abx
