  1. 1. It’s the easiest way to enjoy water. You can’t do it in your bath but you can go to a swimming pool or a beach.
  2. 3. It’s played on a table with pockets in each of the four corners and two on the sides. You use a cue, one white ball (the cue ball), 15 red balls and 6 colours; a yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black ball. You score points by potting the red and coloured balls in the pockets with the white ball in the correct order.
  3. 4. The game is played with a ball on a rectangular field with goal posts at either end. Opposing teams of 11 players endeavour to get the ball and kick it into the opponent’s goal.
  4. 5. THROWING It’s about throwing a light plastic disc with a flip of the wrist.
  5. 9. Free and cheap to do, very social and great for staying fit.
