- 2. is stewardship an act of worship?
- 3. 1 - STEWARDSHIP
- 6. works best when you have a plan in place. What plans can you put in place to be a faithful steward?
- 7. these last days we are encouraged to be faithful stewards of the gospel, to testify using our talent, time, treasures, and temple (body) as we are the light of the world through Jesus. Friends, will you follow God, the true owner of everything? Or let the enemy influence you? Remember that God created you with the power to choose whether to serve Him or not. In Joshua 24:15 the writer encourages us to serve the Lord.
- 9. - Faithful stewards will be blessed. Jesus said in Matthew 25:23, “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your lord.”
- 10. - Everything belongs to God. We are just caretakers. Ps. 24:1
- 12. we have, including talents, is God’s; suggest a situation when you used your talents for his glory.
- 15. - God gave us the job to take care of His world and our gifts.
- 18. is taking care of things that do not belong to you or things given to you for your benefit. The bible says in 1 Cor. 4:2 “moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” God wants you to be a faithful manager of His property. “Fallen man is Satan’s lawful captive. The mission of Christ was to rescue him from the power of his great adversary.” - 1T341.1. The earth is the Lord’s because He created it. Creation is the basis of ownership; everything God created belongs to Him. But by our choices, sometimes we give ourselves to Satan.
- 19. which lies at the foundation of business integrity and of true success is the recognition of God’s ownership. The creator of all things he is the original proprietor. We are his stewards. All that we have is a trust from him, to be used according to his direction.” - Ed. 137.4
- 20. text: Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. (RSV).

- 1. is not only about money and rules but is a foundation for our belief or behavior; it's a principle that involves others. The bible has stories of people who demonstrated stewardship as well as parables on the same, for instance, the parable of the talent in Matt 25:14-30 teaches us to be stewards of what God gives us like time, talents, and resources. God expects us to use them wisely and grow them, in Acts 9:36-43 we learn about the story of Tabitha and how she used her skill to sew and show kindness to others. In addition, Noah’s story in Gen 6:11-9:17 teaches us that faithful, obedient, and responsible stewardship brings God’s favor and lasting blessings. Also, Moses helps us to appreciate lessons of stewardship in Exodus 23:10 - 11 where he suggested the Israelites to care for the land by letting it rest. Mark 4:30-32 teaches that faithful stewardship of small things can lead to great and fruitful outcomes like in the case of a mustard seed.
- 4. - One day, God will ask us how we used what He gave us.
- 5. I tell you boldly that Satan's power is limited. Do you know the reason? Jesus came, died, and rose again and that victory broke Satan’s claim. Because of Jesus’ resurrection, we too can walk in victory. We see this in the story of Job, who stayed faithful even when life was hard. God restored him and showed that He’s still in control.
- 8. belongs to God, including us. What ways can we care for ourselves and our relationships?
- 11. spiritual stewardship. This means using our gifts, talents, and time for God. 1 Peter 4:10 says, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” So we are meant to use what God gave us to help and bless others.
- 13. and girls, did you know that there are two main types of stewardship, firstly, environmental stewardship. This means taking care of the earth, the trees, animals, water, and land. In Genesis 2:15, it says, “Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.” God gave us the earth to care for, not to destroy. In Psalm 24:1, we are reminded, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.” So everything around us belongs to God. Even Romans 8:22-23 tells us that creation is waiting for healing and hope. It groans just like us.
- 14. are called stewards because God has given us the power to take care of His things for His glory. For example, in 1 Chr. 29:11-12 The bible tells us that we are to glorify God and be a blessing to mankind in thanksgiving and prayer. In Psalms 50:10-12, God owns the cattle upon a thousand hills and everything in this world. In Haggai 2:8, silver and gold belongs to God, and in Lev 25:23, the entire earth belongs to God. God has given us testimony, time, talent, temple, and treasures. He wants us to take care of these things as we praise and worship him. If we belong to Him, then everything we have belongs to Him. When we give to God, he isn't taking anything from us, but rather we are putting our hands off what already belongs to Him. This was God's plan before creation (Gen 1:26), and after creating Adam, He gave him rulership over everything in the world (Gen 2:15).
- 16. there’s a problem. There’s a conflict in the world about who really rules. God gave Adam power to manage His creation, but Satan wanted that control. So he went ahead and tempted Adam and Eve, and they disobeyed God. Later, in Luke 4:6, we see Satan telling Jesus, “All this authority I will give You… for this has been delivered to me.” Satan was claiming the world as his. In Job 1:7, when God asks Satan where he’s been, he replies, “From going to and fro on the earth.” He acts like he owns it.
- 17. are four main principles of stewardship:
