The Hero's Journey

1. A wiser often older character presents the hero with important wisdom
4. When the hero reaches the most dangerous part of the journey
6. The hero is not the same as when they left.
8. Where the hero must face their greatest fears and prove themselves.
9. The hero faces these that will try to stop the quest.
11. the end of the journey.
12. People that help the hero on their quest.
13. what happens after the shadow is defeated, can sometimes be an object, love, etc.
15. the hero faces a variety of these to increase their strength and prepare them.
16. After the shadow is defeated they may run into minor challenges on this:

2. a special item or ability that the hero has
3. An event or character comes along with a quest.
5. The hero lives in a non-adventurous world
7. The battle between the hero and the shadow.
10. obstacle that encourages the hero to turn back, but defeating this obstacle makes the hero stronger and more dedicated to the quest
14. Sometimes the hero must be forced into an adventure because of this.
