- 2. Kari and Lester find it hard to believe Bennett has entered a new school and they now have a child at each school building now
- 3. Lester and Kari had a great little getaway here in February; favorite things-the beach, great dinners and drinks, time to reconnect as a couple
- 4. turned 15 in September, works at Nilssen's, takes piano, still has aspirations to be a movie director in his future
- 6. even though not mentioned much in our yearly letters, Bo, our dog, was our first baby and lived a good, long life with the Halsteads until February 2022; two Halstead boys are VERY interested in adopting another dog, but time will tell
- 7. Kari has been employed here 18 years already!
- 9. Lester was the president of this group for the last year and helped the club accomplish many great things
- 11. sport newer to our family that Calvin and Grant love to play all year long
- 12. Hoffman family vacation-enjoyed the World Lumberjack Championships and were photographed for NY Times magazine
- 15. Lester continues to be employed here as Director of Operations
- 17. we gained another teenager in the house in July; Grant excels in math and loves to read, takes piano lessons, taught himself to skate last winter and joined hockey this year
- 18. Lester and Kari have made attending a game a yearly event and always have fun together. Go Pack Go!
- 21. the number of goals Grant scored at his first hockey tournament; we are very proud of the progress he has made in his first year of hockey and excited to see the continued growth
